Absolutely. That would require a massive culture shift in an inflexible setting and a demonstrable impact on success rates. In a funding-restricted environment, building the case won’t happen. The organization will be carried along a wave created in the mainstream.

Very interesting idea @codiyioti. It makes me think that one of the more important aspects in making your idea a reality will be a stable and reliable mobile platform that will facilitate the ability for teams to communicate in real time away from the tether of a desktop or laptop computer.

I work in human services and there’s a pretty complex network involved with any given case. I was thinking–as in this will not happen in my lifetime–how valuable it would be for a twitter-style network to be available to facilitate case management. A twitter from an evaluator, a twitter from a client, a twitter from a teacher, a prospective employer, a family member . . . all brought together to knot the Indra’s net that must be there to effect change for a client. All ready to collate to keep case notes and watch flow.
